Founded in the Pacific Northwest by outdoor enthusiasts who believe that exploration belongs to everyone, Cascade Mountain Tech has been dedicated to the idea of achievable adventure since day one. Offering a selection of quality gear for outdoor adventures, we aim to make time in the outdoors more enjoyable, more affordable, and more accessible for everyone.

As a part of that commitment we're expanding our story to include the “Outbounders”, our official ambassadors. Each season we’ll assemble a group of outdoor go-getters – real world adventurers whose stories and photos will inspire us to hit the road, hit the trail and get out there.

If you are interested in being an Outbounder in coming seasons, fill out this short form and we’ll add you to the list of adventurers we’re considering!

Allison Waken | Hiking | Southwest
I spent most of my childhood playing outdoors most of the day, we’d spend holidays picnicking in the desert, and went on a few camping or fishing trips. When I met my husband in high school we started adventuring together and my love for exploring the outdoors really took off from there. He loves hunting and fishing, I love hiking and taking photos!

Rafael Wiley-Godoi | Car Camping | Pacific Northwest
Growing up in Brazil, I was introduced to the great outdoors on a very young age. My parents were for sure the responsible for my love towards my adventurous lifestyle. I love the water, and easily find myself on the lake.

Callie Stadler | Backpacking | Alaska
My husband and I moved to Alaska about two years ago. I remember embarking on our first hike in Alaska where we knew the name of the peak, the elevation, distance, how to get to the trailhead and that was about it. I remember my legs just trembling whenever I would stop to take a break. Looking back on that is so crazy to me because that mountain we first climbed is now a very short hike we can sneak in sometimes even after work.
Ryan Read | Hiking | Tennessee
I once backpacked 30 miles over 2 days with nothing but chacos on my feet. It was the worst experience of my life but makes for some great stories and laughs with my friends who I went with.

Doris Wang | Backpacking | Pacific Northwest
I was first introduced into the great outdoors as a child attending summer camp near Lake Arrowhead, CA. I lost touch with the outdoors by the end of high school/beginning of college. But began hiking more after graduating in 2010. In 2015, never having backpacked before, my friend and I scored permits for Mt Whitney Trail and hiking Half Dome. My first backpacking trip was a 2 night backpacking trip up San Gorgonio Mountain, in preparation for Mt Whitney.
